2023 end-of-session budget bills pass Legislature
The bills were passed in the Assembly on Sept. 8 and in the Senate on Sept. 11
The 2023 end-of-session budget bills emerged in print beginning on August 27. The Assembly passed the 11 bills below on September 8. The Senate concurred in these 11 bills on September 11. The end-of-session bills advancing to the Governor are all Senate Bills as amended in the Assembly, as follows:

andAB 152(10:25 am, 8/29/2023). This trailer bill requires two-thirds of the members of both houses to approve as it amends the cannabis initiative, as trailer bills do every year.
Budget hearings were held in the Assembly and the Senate on Wednesday, August 30. These hearings were livestreamed and later archived at each house’s website. Update: an additional budget bill jr., SB 105, later was introduced and is expected to be on the Assembly and Senate Floors on September 13-14.
